CENTRAL: Friends bus trip to the Julia Ideson Building

The Friends of the Pasadena Public Library are going on a trip to the Julia Ideson Building in downtown Houston and you are invited to join them (note -- if you are not currently a member of the Friends group, you must become a member prior to the trip). The Julia Ideson Building was Houston's main library in downtown Houston from 1926 to 1976 and is now a city of Houston Protected Landmark. For the bus trip there, there is an age limit of 55 and up and the cost is $3. Meet at the Pasadena Central Library (1201 Jeff Ginn Memorial Dr.) at 9 a.m. on June 17. Register please on the library online calendar (pasadenalibrary.org), or by calling 713-475-4984, by Monday, June 10. Not yet a member?
