Fairmont: Chromebook Orientation

Through a partnership with Harris County Public Library, Pasadena Public Library has a limited number of Chromebooks for individuals who do not have a laptop or desktop computer that meets their work, school or personal needs. The Chromebooks, funded through the FCC Emergency Communications Fund, contain Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) filtering which blocks streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu and others. To attend the orientation, please register for a spot below or call 713-475-4984. In addition, you must acknowledge the following:

• I do not have a device (laptop or desktop computer) that meets my work, school or personal needs.
• I am aware that Chromebooks contain content filtering that cannot be removed.
• Only one Chromebook is available per family
• Participants must arrive within five minutes of the start of the orientation.
